• Always extinguish your candle before leaving the room or heading to bed. Safety first.
• Before each burn, trim the wick to ¼ inch. This promotes an even, clean flame and reduces smoke or soot.
• Keep candles at least 2 feet away from anything flammable—curtains, books, plants, or fabric.
• Always place your candle on a sturdy, non-flammable surface to catch any melted wax and avoid heat damage.
• If the flame grows too large or flickers wildly, extinguish the candle and let it cool before relighting.
• Burn multiple candles at least 3 inches apart to prevent them from melting each other or creating drafts.
• Candles should never be left burning overnight. For sleep ambiance, try a flameless alternative.
• Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. This helps prevent overheating and ensures a longer-lasting, even burn.
• Discontinue use when about ½ inch of wax remains in the container. Burning too low can cause the jar to overheat or crack.
• Always keep candles away from children and pets. Curious hands (and paws) don’t mix well with open flames.
